Judged by the Content of Your Social Credit Score?

"I have a dream that my four little children will one day live in a nation where they will not be judged by the color of their skin but by the content of their character."

Martin Luther King, Jr.'s famous words highlighted the importance of someone's character over the color of their skin.

Well, what if you were judged not only by the color of your skin but, also, the content of your social media character/behavior, and based on those irrelevant identifiers, you are given a social credit score in a system controlled and monitored by your government?

If this sounds like a utopia to you, there is no hope.

Not only has a reboot of affirmative action 2.0, repackaged as critical race theory and equity, infected our social construct throughout America, we have also been documenting our character/behavior through social media for years, giving the government a plethora of personal data they need to judge and stamp us with a social credit score to further restrict our divine rights and freedom.

How many of you are swiping through your Instagram and Facebook selfie Rolodex after reading that true and unfortunate statement, right now?

Recent reports are making their rounds through the mockingbird media and mainstream media's rhetoric, exposing "China’s social credit system [which] is a combination of government and business surveillance that gives citizens a 'score' that can restrict the ability of individuals to take actions — such as purchasing plane tickets, acquiring property or taking loans — because of behaviors" (Coming Soon: America's Own Social Credit System, The Hill).

Not only has China been piloting projects for their Social Credit System since 2014, but COVID-19 has also given the United States' political officials the opportunity to test this tyrannical and overly oppressive concept on Americans.

If you require a visual to illustrate the concept of the social credit system, unavoidably served with a side of horrendous societal impacts generated out of this "tightly knit, highly efficient machine" of judgment, look no further than the extremely provocative episode of Black Mirror on Netflix, "Nosedive".

In this episode, Bryce Dallas Howard plays Lacie. A woman who, like most people, is completely overwhelmed by a narcissistic and vacuous society where the ambition of being a social media influencer and idol to the brainwashed and overexposed masses, is more important than free will and divine rights.

Not only are people consumed by their hypnotic handheld devices (i.e., iPhone, iPad, laptop, etc.), people are given a score based on ratings from each other.

From one to five stars for every interaction they have (in-person and on social media platforms), which can impact their socioeconomic status, the ability to conduct mundane life acts, like taking an Uber or flying on Delta to a family reunion, are based on your rating. If you have a low score, you are restricted from these "privileges".

Like our recent credit score system (Transunion, Experian, FICO, etc.) used in purchasing a home (mundane act), the social credit score is also regulated, influenced, and advocated for by the government and delivered through corporate America.

Connecting any dots, yet?

Overly obsessed with her ratings, Lacie's obsession leads to several mishaps on her journey to a friend's wedding that culminates in a rapid reduction of her rating thereby restricting her ability to consume goods and services and get her to her destination (the wedding).

Unfortunately, an Americanized version of a social credit score system, has already begun to plague Americans, although, you may not see it yet.

In a press conference, just last month (July 2021), Jen Psaki, Press Secretary of the Biden Administration, responded to questions regarding the federal government's request for social media platforms to be more aggressive in policing information.

"We are in regular touch with these social media platforms and those engagements typically happen through members of our senior staff but also members of our COVID-19 team...this is a big issue of misinformation specifically on the pandemic in terms of actions...we've increased disinformation research and tracking within the Surgeon General's Office...flagging problematic posts for Facebook [to censor]".

That alone should send chills down your spine but wait, there is more!

Terror of the Woods presents to you, a case study we like to call "Ironic Hypocrisy":

Using this pathetic excuse for a governor, this week, New York Governor, Andrew Cuomo, announced his advocation for businesses to require COVID-19 vaccination for admission in a state with a 60% vaccination rate.

LET THAT SINK IN!

He has unilaterally declared unvaccinated people "socially unfit" to engage with businesses for their goods and services. What is more, his recommended metric of choice is based on an individual's behavior to medically choose not to get vaccinated. Essentially, he wants to restrict an individual's ability to engage in mundane life acts because of what he deems is bad behavior.

SOUND FAMILIAR?

In a poetic plot twist, also this week, the New York Attorney General released her REPORT OF INVESTIGATION INTO ALLEGATIONS OF SEXUAL HARASSMENT BY GOVERNOR ANDREW M. CUOMO, concluding that he in fact sexually harassed multiple women.

What social credit score would you give Cuomo based on his behavior to sexually harass women in the workplace?

The ironic hypocrisy is OUT OF CONTROL on this one, folks! (Bussiness Insider)

Terror of the Woods had much more to support the message in this edition of Hypocrisy. However, if you are unable to absorb the significance of this disgusting display of artificial and manufactured freedom, then you really have no business being here.

You can take your social credit score and do business somewhere else...
