Murky Dismal and the Statist's Utopia
The expansion of social welfare with built-in universal healthcare and income is the endgame for the Statists who believe they are delivering happiness equally among the individuals of the world. However, this denies the individual a very important piece to true happiness -- self-development and discovery.
Murky Dismal prefers all things gloomy and dark. The antagonist in Rainbowland who lives in the Treacherous Pit uses his inventions to extract color from the land and spread gloom. He goes beyond reasonable or predictable limits of exceptional degree and for what -- a lifeless and boring endgame.
However, to an evil character like Murkey Dismal, this is utopia. To Terror of the Woods, the Murky Dismal's utopia is analogous to the Statist's social welfare state, a.k.a., socialism. Just as Murky drained color and life from Rainbowland, the Statist drains any ability for the individual to learn, evolve and grow while extracting religion out of the world so the only thing left is the State -- no God and, therefore, no divine rights. Life challenges in exchange for a universal system where competition doesn't exist is a pathetic life existence for any individual.
Deductive reasoning, or, more specifically, syllogism, the logical reasoning discussions of Aristotle, would conclude the Statist is evil and therefore, socialism is evil.
What was Murky going to do after this endgame? Seems like once he accomplished his mission, which was rebuked by Rainbow Brite, life would be boring and without love. To the evil mind, this is the ultimate utopia -- everyone living in misery equally while the Statist banishes the color and love in the world. Hypocrisy by Terror of the Woods asks this question, can you achieve your goals and happiness in a world without color and love?
