THE GREAT RESET
Our lives are governed by contracts that we enter into for some perceived benefit. These benefits range from the mundane, such as utility service or credit card usage, to the sublime like marriage. Throughout life, we contemplate and consent to many contracts. Whether it be written or orally constructed, contracts unite individuals. However, there is one contract, in particular, that unites us with our neighbors and community.
Philosophers, John Locke, Thomas Hobbes, and Jean-Jacques Rousseau, refer to this specific contract as the "social contract". The "social contract" defined by Klaus Schwab, founder, and chairman of the World Economic Forum," refers to the (often implicit) set of arrangements and expectations that govern the relations between individual and institutions....without it, the 'social fabric unravels' (Schwab, 2020). He goes on to say "...what we do know is that unless we do something to reset today’s world, tomorrow’s will be profoundly stricken....without delay we need to set in motion The Great Reset" (Schwab, 2020).
Essentially, Schwab threatens the destruction of society and the social contract unless the world complies with the socialistic measures set forth in the United Nations' 2030 Sustainable Development Goals and A World at Risk: Annual report on global preparedness for health emergencies. These so-called "reports" from allegedly different world organizations have a central theme that skirts the fundamentals of a socialistic society and totalitarian government. They are also fronts for just a couple of organizations: The World Bank and the United Nations. Kinda has a New World Order ring to it that we will explore in another edition of Exposed by Terror of the Woods.
The term, The Great Reset, was a conspiracy theory before 2020 and, for some individuals, well into 2021. Uttering this phrase often activates the listener into a fight or flight response in anticipation of fighting or fleeing the conversation.
However, since the publication of Klaus Schwab's COVID-19: The Great Reset through the World Economic Forum and Time magazine's extensive website on the matter, "conspiracy theorists" or people who follow alternative news media outlets can finally say:
"I TOLD YOU SO"
